Reflections: Mitzvah Mania
On Sunday, November 2, Hillel at Temple participated in the second annual Jewish Federation Mitzvah Mania. As reported by Dana Grzesh, TU '12, students participated in a home clean up in Northeast Philadelphia. A good deed never goes unnoticed and that is how I felt when I participated in Philadelphia's annual Mitzvah Mania on November 2nd. There could not have been a better way than to help some local members of the community than with my fellow Hillel members and staff. As students entered the lobby adorned with red, white and blue balloons, they were handed maps of the United States along with blue and red markers. read more
Sukkot Celebrations Around the Campus

Following Yom Kippur, Temple University students and Hillel professionals spent time constructing two sukkot on campus. One, built in the backyard of the Hillel building, was standing in under 3 hours thanks to the creative talents of some Alpha Epsilon Pi brothers...The other sukkah was built in the center of campus on the plaza surrounding the Bell Tower.read more
Student Leadership Explodes
Things at Hillel are a buzz, and it is not just from all of the honey sticks Hillel handed out at Rosh Hashanah. In just one semester, the Hillel leadership at Temple has exploded. This newly energized base has allowed Hillel to expand its programming and involve more students to grow the Jewish community at Temple.
