Sharansky will discuss Israeli Identity and Democracy, the topic of his new book, "Defending Identity." Details to follow at www.pennhillel.org. This program is being brought to the campuses by Caravan for Democracy, a program sponsored by Jewish National Fund and Media Watch International.
Campuses Rally for Israel On Thursday, January 15th, approximately 150 students braved the cold and the snow to stand resolutely with Israel by attending a rally on College Green organized by Hillel, the Penn Israel Coalition, and the Israeli Consulate. The purpose of the rally was to remind the Penn community of Israel's right to defend her citizens and to give voice to the hundreds of thousands of Israelis terrorized by rocket fire from Gaza for over seven years. read moreTaglit Birthright Israel Hillel Trips Bring Philadelphia Students to Israel This winter, 60 students journeyed together to Israel for their first time on a peer trip.
