| Dear Friends,
Staffing a Birthright Israel trip is a privilege and an honor. Although Temple students on our trip came from diverse backgrounds they formed a strong community practically overnight. They felt comfortable talking with us as well as each other about this immersive experience, and were comfortable to share the pivotal moments in their Jewish lives. The trip facilitated a meaningful and transformative experience for all as the following stories will illustrate.
~Abe Roisman, Jewish Life Coordinator
~Hila Shaulski, Israel Program Fellow

Hear from our Birthright Israel Students
Robert Franklin ’12 - St. Petersburg, Florida
“Birthright was an unbelievable experience that was life changing for me, as I'm sure this can be for any Jew on their first visit to Israel. Being immersed in a world of Jewish ubiquity is an incredible feeling, even for just that small window of time in life.”
Brittany Wickham ’14 - Lansdale, Pennsylvania
“Signing up for a Taglit-Birthright trip was not even a question for me. As a college student struggling to find her Jewish identity and role in the community, it was the next logical step in my journey. I had no idea what to anticipate. With little to no Jewish connection at home, I was hoping to build a connection in Israel, and I did just that. I made it. I am proud to say that I made it to the place that my ancestors had fought, wandered, and wondered about their whole lives. 'Will we ever have a place to call home?' I made it. I made it home.”
