TZEDEK PHILLY empowers Philadelphia-area colleges students to transform our world through dynamic social justice work that is influenced, enhanced, and inspired by an on-going dialogue with Jewish text, tradition and community.
DEDICATED TO SERVICE: Tzedek Philly works in partnership with campus-based student organizations, and local community service, outreach and advocacy organizations to provide opportunities for students to participate in one-time and on-going social justice and public service projects in Philadelphia, around the country and around the world. Find out what's going on on your campus!
DEDICATED TO LEARNING: Tzedek Philly is committed to service learning. Through Tzedek Philly, students not only participate in meaningful community service and social justice advocacy but also find a home to learn about the root causes of poverty and homelessness, and how the Jewish tradition helps us to navigate these most challenging moral and ethical questions of our day.
DEDICATED TO COMMUNITY: Tzedek Philly is an on-campus and on-line community of Jewish students from across Philadelphia’s college-campuses who are committed to social justice. Whether through the Tzedek Philly blog or through Tzedek Philly volunteer programming, Tzedek Philly is the place to share ideas and inspiration, and find social and spiritual sustenance to keep you moving and motivated.
