West Chester University Hillel

Welcome to West Chester University (WCU) Hillel!
This rapidly growing, diverse campus is booming with Jewish Life and many opportunities for students to get involved!
Whether it’s coming to one of our popular Shabbat dinners, Holiday celebrations (Promukkah or Purim Masca-rave), Israeli cooking classes or even just grabbing coffee and a bagel at one of our pop-up bagel brunches, WCU Hillel has something for you!
We strive to create a strong and vibrant presence on campus for students of all backgrounds. Our programs and events are student lead and aim to connect with a diverse group of students on campus.
Starting Fall 2019!!! We will be unveiling a new program called “Shabbat Across West Chester” - Shabbat on your terms, in your homes! Students will be able to sign up to host a Shabbat in their dorm/apartment/house. Once enrolled they will receive a stipend to purchase food, as well as a Shabbat Bag, that includes candles (or dorm-friendly “candles”), challah, grape juice and a prayer card. We ask that students share a picture of their Shabbat on social media and tag us! That’s it! Interested in participating? Click here!
